Electronic Discovery

Litigation matters, large or small, will now include electronic discovery.  The reality today is that 97% of documents generated are in digital form and 70% of those documents are never printed.  Electronic data will, for the most part, include e-mail and the attachments to those e-mails.

In order for these documents to be reviewed by the legal team, they need to be “processed”.  The steps involved to process the data may include:

• Deduplication (Within a Custodian or Across Custodians)
• Keyword Searches (Attorney Names for Potentially Privileged and/or Topics/Issues)
• Date Filters
• Process all file types or exclude some
• Native Review Only (Metadata Fields, Extracted Text and Links to Native Files)
• TIFF Review (Metadata Fields, Extracted Text, Links to Native Files and TIFF Images)

Our technical solutions enable us to process over 300 file types and multiple e-mail formats, including Outlook and Lotus Notes.
